Isa Hamid was born on the same day that minnie mouse was created in 1928 she was married but was unfortunately widowed very young she met and married another man and had two children, unfortunately she outlived both of them she was a wonderful person who had both dignity and courage I had known her for nine years as a neighbour but the last two months of her illness as a friend I have learned so much from her she was a fantastic pianist, organist and was an Elder in her church for 30 years she always had time to say hello to anyone and really enjoyed gardening she was in her garden nearly every single day no matter what the weather and had the nicest garden in the street she would have put us all to shame.
She also used to travel round the country with her friends to put on shows for people in Homes and Hospices she was a very remarkable woman and I am very grateful to her friends for sharing her stories with me it was a pleasure to have known her anyone who came into contact with her were touched by her. This picture is from your 80th birthday not so long ago one very determined woman.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Teardrops
If tears could build a stairway
And memories lay a lane
We could walk all the way to heaven
And bring you back again.

Isa A Very Determined Woman By Tracy Richardson
I think you knew
But didn't say
That God was coming to take you away
You battled on and didn;t complain
You said you have no ache or pain.
Each visiting time I came to see
A happy smiling face looking up at me
Youd clap your hands, laugh and jeer.
Your first words were GET ME OUT OF HERE
A cigarette you did enjoy minnie mouse she was your toy
Your one wish though was to come home
Because you felt so alone
The alien environment did you no good
The staff in there were very rude
Its obvious you had a voice
But in that place you had no choice.
When you were put on steroids we got such a fright
They gave you a massive appetite
For TRIFLE chocolate and carrot cake galore
You ate, and ate till you could eat no more.
One thing I'll say before I go
It was a pleasure just to know
A lovely woman so gentle loving and kind
Whos taught me a lesson or two about life.
Thankyou Isa for sharing with me
THE ONE VERY DETERMINED WOMAN I DID SEE
Loads a Love

When You went Away
Just sitting thinking about how peacefully you died and how it was a privelage to be there at the time holding hands and creating a circle of light and singing "I come to the garden alone" which I know was something your mother used to sing to you when you were a child I cant believe sitting looking out my window that your patio roses are in full bloom and have been since the day of your passing, looking into your garden just isnt going to be the same without you in it.
A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side
Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.
Isa
